A report is a shareable, page-like document that pulls your KPIs together into sections (summaries, charts, status counts and tables) so you can send the story behind your numbers to the people who need it. This is how you make your first one.

Three ways to start
Open Reports from the sidebar. If you haven't made a report yet, you'll see a panel headed How would you like to start with three cards. Once you have reports, the same choices live under the Add a new report button, top right.
- Report Builder: a blank canvas. You add the sections you want, in the order you want them. Best when you know exactly what to show.
- Templates: a pre-built report you tune afterwards. The fastest way to a finished document.
- AI Generated: describe what you need in plain English and let SimpleKPI's assistant suggest sections, KPIs and a template that fits.
Create a blank report
- Go to Reports.
- Click Report Builder (or Add a new report).
- Give the report a name: click the title at the top of the page and type over Untitled report.
- Add sections from the palette on the left, then click Save.
Nothing is saved until you click Save, so backing out of a blank report never leaves a stray draft behind. Your new report then appears in My Reports.
New reports open with a month-to-date date window. Set the range once at the top of the report and every section and chart inside it follows.
