Groups let you describe how your people are structured, such as by department, region, or brand. Placing a user in the structure means their KPIs and data can be sliced the same way, so you can compare and roll up numbers across your organization.
Create groups
Groups live on the Organization view of the Users page. A group holds items, so a Region group might hold North, South, and so on.
- On the Users page, switch to the Organization view using the toggle at the top.
- Add a group and give it a name.
- Add the items that belong to it.
Place a user in the structure
Once you have groups, you can position each person within them. A user can belong to up to three groups, and holds one position, made up of one item from each of their groups.
- Back on the Users view, find the person's row and open their Organization assignment.
- Tick up to three groups to place them in.
- For each group, pick the one item that describes where they sit, then click Save.
Saving flows the change onto that person's assigned KPIs automatically, and tells you what applied. To take someone out of the structure, clear all of their group selections and save.
