Assigning KPIs to a person gives them access to enter values against those KPIs. It's how you decide who's responsible for which numbers, so each contributor sees exactly the KPIs they own and nothing they don't.

Assign KPIs to someone
- On the Users page, find the person's row and click the number in the KPIs column.
- In the popup, browse KPIs by category. Use the search box to jump to one by name.
- Tick a KPI to grant access. Tick a category's box to select every KPI in it at once.
- Click Save.
Working with breakdowns
A breakdown splits a KPI into its parts, such as by region or team. When a KPI has breakdown sets, its row expands so you can grant access set by set, for example Australia : Perth. The first row is Global, which is the company-wide, no-breakdown figure. Tick the KPI itself to select all of its sets at once.
Viewers and Analysts are read-only for KPIs, so the KPIs button doesn't appear on their rows. If you want someone to enter data, give them the Contributor or Manager role first.
